THRU8H CELEBRATE GOLDEN WEDDING ANNIVERSARY A lovely surprise dinner party was given at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hiram Thrush in Camas Valley Friday evening, July 26, honoring them on their Jtiltieth wedding anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Thrush have spent most of their married life in Camas Valley and reared a family of eight children, all of whom were present at the dinner. Covers were placed lor Mr. and Mrs. Hiram Thrush, guests of honor; Mrs. Myrtle Zeigler, Mr. and Mrs. Eli Thrush and family, Dick, Jimmic, Jeanne, Rachel and Mrs. Wesley Smith and small daughter, Donna; Mr. and Mrs. David Thrush and son, Dwain; Mr. and Mrs. Percy Wol cott, Mr .and Mrs. Emery Thrush and children, Dorine, Irvin, Bobby and Roger; Mr. and Mrs. Jay Thrush, Miss Musie Thrush and Mrs. Joe Kirkendall and chil dren, Ardith, Ellen Jo, Lynn and Teddy. Gray, honoring the boys home on leave from the Navy base in San Diego, where they had Just completed their boot training. Roy Denton was master of cere monies and put the boys through drill to demonstrate what they had learned in the Navy to date. The boys present were: Wesley Ashworth, Bob Collcy, Daun Lll lard, Tom Dillard and Rodney and Roland Barrows. Dancing was enjoyed during the social hour.
