Friday afternoon at the beautiful Whar ton home on Chadwick Street in compliment to Mrs. Clifford Barker, who with her husband and son, John, left the following Monday for Seattle to reside. Mrs. Barker and John have resided in Roseburg during the war. Mr. Barker is now stationed by the Army al Fort Lewis. He is the son of Mrs. J. F. Barker and a brother of Mi's. Broadway and Mrs. Josse. The tea table, covered by a very lovely lace cloth, was centered with an attractive arrangement of sweetpeas and fern. Mrs. W. R. Brown, Mrs. rilldegarde Briggs, Mrs. W. F. Chapman and Mrs. A. E. PEN GRA-PE ARSON TO PLAY FINALS FOR ST EARNS-BRIDGES TROPHY Mrs. Marshall Pengra has won all matches she has played in for the Steams-Bridges trophy at the Roseburg Country Club and this week will play Mrs. E. A. Fear- son, runner-up in the finals. Mrs. L. E. McClintock and Mrs. R. H. Savage will plav off the match for the second flight. The members having luncheon at the club Thursday included Mrs. J. F.
