The four brothers, E. W. Redlfcr, Myrtle Creek; R. L. Redifer, Al bany, and A. C. and J. V. Redifer, Cariyonville, and the two sisters, Mrs. James C. Sumner and Mrs. Floyd O. Craig, Drain, were all present. Other members of the families present were: Mrs. R. L. Redifer, Mrs. A. C. Redifer. James C. Sum- ner and Floyd O. Craig, Mr. and Mrs. Everett Redifer and daugh ter; Mr. and Mrs. Ed Keno, Port land; Mr. and Brs. Rollin Redifer and two sons, Ashland; Mr. and Mrs. R. R. Sehultz and son, Maple ton; Mr. and Mrs. G. R. Sumner and three children, La Grande; Mrs. Jewell Montgomery and two children and Nonnle Redifer, Cur tin; Mr. and Mrs. F. Odell Craig and two children, Cottage Grove; Mr. and Mrs. Bert Dennis and son, Springfield, and Paul Redl tcr, Myrtle Creek. The fathers and mothers graves were decorated at eleven o'clock. At one o'ejock a bountiful dinner was served and the afternoon was enjoyably spent In visiting. The next reunion to be held will be June 3, 1947, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd O. Craig. MR. HAS ENJOYABLE MEETING Good food, "perty trimmlns," happy laughter, Jolly conviviality, nonsense conversation, sage phil osphy, good shoy, and good fel lowship all blended together made a most enjoyable potluck dinner meeting for the Business Profes sional Women's Club at the I. O. O. F. Hall last Monday evening. After the dinner, guests of the club, Mrs. Ziipha E. Patchen and Mrs. Cynthia Murray showed colored slides of the interior of Alaska and the coast area of Kodiak Island. Accompanying the beautirul colored slides explana tory lectures were given concern ing location, names of places, cus toms of the people, costumes of the natives, and names of many characters. This applied to much territory around Juno, Fair banks and the Matanuska Valley. The coastal area clarified much that Major George L. Hall told about In his book "Sometime Again," a non-fiction story of the fortification of Kodiak Island, ac tivity in the Aleutians and Dutch Harbor. It will be remembered that Major Hall is from Oregon and has many friends in this lo cality. Many artistic shots were shown of the long nights and the long days in their proper rotation. A striking resemblance was shown in the vegetation of some parts of Alaska to that. of Oregon. It was announced that the next meeting would be June 10, with Nance Atkinsias chairman of the committee in charge, also that the club was proud to hear thai Maude Kidder had received a let ter from Governor Snell designat ing her as Oregon Mother for this community. LINGER LONGER CLUB IS ENTERTAINED FRIDAY Mrs. Glover Clayton and Mrs. Alvin Helgeson were co-hostesses in entertaining the Linger Longer ' Club at the home of Mrs. Hel-! geson at a 1:30 luncheon last' Friday. Dainty pink and green was the consistent color scheme for the appointments, favors and prizes. The table was centered with a May pole with a streamer for each guest, Mrs. Roy Gordon being the recipient of the prize with the unwinding of the May pole. The afternoon was pleas antly spent playing quiz games with prizes going to the ones ex celling. Covers were laid for the follow ing guests: Mesdames: Gus Weigel, Roy Gordon, Henry Trauhbough, Cecil Callahan, Arnold Helgeson, Otis Clayton, Henry Weber, Kenneth Ronk, Keith Ronk, and the hos tesses, Mrs. Glover Clayton and Mrs. Alvin Helgeson.
