Annual re ports were read by the secretary, Mrs. Thelma Hanson, and the treasurer, Mrs. Thelma Sundber". Mrs. Pattv Rowell volunteered to take over the Immediate work In connection with the club's cam paign for a telephone line In El garose. The morning program opened with groun singing of "God Bless America," lollowed " a song, "Little Red Schoolhouse" with the solo part being sung by Ed ward ware. A tap dance was given by Roberta Hansen and a playlet "Midnight in the Vege table Garden,' followed with the characters all dressed to repre sent vegetables. A tap dance was elven by Nancv Mack, Marilyn Morris, Colleen Moore, Roberta Hansen, Vada Moore, Caralee Hickman and Nancv Gurthrles. The rhythm band played "Pop uoes tne weasel" and "unward Christian Soldiers," and the third and fourth grand band played "Over the Heather" and "Brahm's Lullaby." HAS INTERESTING MEETING LOOKINGGLASS The Woman's Society of Christian Service was entertained on Wednesday afternoon by Mrs. Arthur Marsh. Prior to the busi ness session, the ladies enjoyed viewing the flower gardens where over 500 tulips were in bloom. The devotional service was conducted by Mrs. Thos. Buckle and the business session by tne president, Mrs. Joe liutnne. A lovely gift Bible was pre sented to Mrs. Alma May Le Clere who has recently sold her valley home and plans deDarture soon to May wood, Calif., to re side with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Anderson. A beautiful card of congratulation was signed by the ladies to be forwarded to Mrs. Marsh's mother. Mis. Marv Smith in honor of her 80th birth day. Mrs. bmith is visiting for few weeks at the home of hpr son, W. W. Smith in Portland. A meetin card was also sipned by the ladies to be sent to Mrs. Edna Williams who has been ill for some time. A shower of lovely gifts was presented to Mrs. Gar rison for her infant daughter.
