of Grand Guardian Council.
Order of Job's Daughters, at
Eugene, April 11-12-13. Mrs. Brit -
ton was highly complimented for
her very suueessful term of of-
fice.
Mrs. Lula Lcyda, supreme mar-
shal, and Mrs. Cox, grand guar-
dlan of Washington, were tires-
ent from Spokane. Mrs. A. J.
Young, past grand guardian of
Oregon, organiwr of many
bethel, and who is a past officer
of the supreme order of Job s
Daughters, was also in attend
ance. A formal banquet and dance
was given for the bethels, guests
and DeMolays Thursday evening.
Friday morning was given over
to the intrduction of distin
guished officers and guests, fol
lowed by addresses of welcome
and responses. Those escorted

Hampton, was elected vice-associate
grand guardian of Oregon.

of ritualistic work by the present

burg, presiding as Honored
Queen of the session. Those

TO MEET AT LUNCHEON
The Merry-Co-Round. Club will
meet al one o'clock potluck
luncheon Wednesday, April 24,
at the home of Mr. George John
son on North Jackson Street. All

The last meeting of the club
was enjoyed at a one-thirty
o'clock dessert-luncheon at the
home of Mrs. J. R. Wilson. A

The wools are graded, appraised, and purchased by the Govern
ment in Portland.
The U. S. Commodity Credit Corporation buys all grades of wool
and for 26 years Pacific has always graded and sold on grades. The
Government buys Douglas County wools at different prices for
each different grade. These prices range from SI. 05 per clean
pound down to 85c per clean pound.
Every member shipper receives a grade sheet showing the actual
grades of his wool and the net prices he received from the Gov
eminent for the wool he produced.
Through the Pacific you receive the actual price that the CCC
paid for the grades of wool that you produced,
Growers who produce choice wools receive a higher
price, which your Government intended you to have
and to which you are entitled . Our members who pro- .
duced strictly combing wools averaged 52.47c per
pound compared with 48c for combing and clothing to-.
gether. Growers of short defective wools receive less
Why should you sell your wool at a flat, average price when yru
may have produced a considerable percentage of wool that t Is
worth 10c a pound more than your poorest grade of wool.
Pacific Wool Growers furnishes sacks and twine and insurance
without direct cost to you. Sacks and twine may be secured
direct from our representative in your territory or by writing the
Association office and requesting them. f
