Wallace Herbert Raymond of Payt Creek, Ore., wai married to Purnln Leonard Swlngley, of Heath, Montana, March 18, at the rreiDytenan Church at Great Kailt, Montana. The ceremony was performed by candlelight in the pretence of the bridegroom i mother; his younger brother play ing the wedding muiic and hit two cousins acting at attendants. After the exchange of wedding vows, the party enjoyed a wed ding dinner, at which time the beautifully decorated wedding cake was cut. She is a member nf Zi.m Tau Alpha tororlty and is presi dent of the alumna group. She has been president of the u. S. O. Junior Hostesses for two yeart and was a member of the Dre- organizatlon committee of the YWCA and served on the board during the last year. For the last even years, she has been em ployed In the office of the Eugene Farmers' Creamery. He served with the signal corps construction group for a year in the Yukon and later went overseas to France. MRS. L. E. McCLINTOCK ENTERTAINS CLUB AT BRIDGE LUNCHEON TUESDAY Mrs. L. E. MeCllntock very gra ciously entertained her bridge club at a charming one o'clock luncheon at the Hotel Umixiua Tuesday, after which contract bridge was enjoyed at the attrac tive home of the hostess on North Jackson Street. Magnolias formed a very pretty decorative motif for the occasion. Covert were nlared for: Mrs. S. G. Palmer, Mrs. H. C. Church. Mrs. G. W. Marshall and Mrs. O. M. Berrie, guests, and Mrs. C. B. Wade, Mrs. Ivan I'lckens, Mrt. Clair K. Allen and Mrs. MeClln tock. The bride left London by plane and arrived in Portland, Ore., a few dayi prior to the wedding date.
