The rooms were decorated with the Christmas motif intermingled with beaut i Jul chrysanthemums furnished by Mrs. Virgil Smith. 'J'he following program was given: Prayer hy Mr. Needham; Hev. Hubert Mathews pave the beautiful Christmas story; sontf, "Silent Niht," by the group; Mrs. Marshall gave a Christmas reading followed by the soiitf, "Little Town of Ilethlehem. Many interesting games were played, led hy Mrs. K. E. Mathews. Refreshments were served hy the committee, Mrs. K. Marshall, Mi's. Charles lloloomb and Mrs. R. E. Mathews, assisted by Mrs. Vernon La Haul and Mrs. Harold McKay. The table was covered with a aco cloth from whieh the ex change gifts were drawn hy numtM-rs. Those present were Mrs. Menie Iee, Mrs. Ethel Bram hall, Mrs. Virgil Smith. Mrs. I,ois Irving, Mrs. Harvey Carey, Mrs. Mate Mendenhall, Mrs. Charles Holeomh and daughter, Velva; Mrs. J. B. Grab-bag gifts will be distributed and following the program, dancing will be en joyed. A most cordial invitation has been extended to the entire community as well as grange members to attend. SUNDAY 8CHOOL CLASS ENTERTAINED AT PARTY Mm. Bessie Wheeler had a party for her Sunday School ciusa, the Junior High class. A most enjoyable evening was sjcnt at games and singing. At 10 o'clock Mrs. Wheeler served refreshments to Elvin Buck, Al bert Evans, Jeanne Thrush, Rob ert Wheeler, Jeanne Sanders, Jim Thrush, Ilulda Naiman, Mi's. Evans and Mrs. Ernest Wheeler. GIRL SCOUTS ENJOY BACKWARDS PARTY CAMAS VALLEY The Girl Scouts of Camas Valley, under the leadership of Mrs. M. Banks, held a most unusual backwards parly Friday evening at Standley hall. A macaroni supjer was held at seven o'clock, after which games and dancing were en Joyed. The entire troop was pres ent and several guests were in vited to enjoy the affair. EAGLES XMAS PARTY TO BE HELD SUNDAY The annual Christmas party to be sponsored by the Eagles, for all members and their families will be an event of Sunday, Ie- nihcr 23, at seven o'clock in the evening at the hall.
