Aunt Mary, as she is fondly called by her friends, was born in Derbyshire, England, and came to America at the age of five years, together with her father, mother, sister, Mrs. Emily Young, now 82 years of age; her brother, Will Bainbiidge of Cot tage Grove, 84 years old and two other sisters, one Mrs. Hannah Green, who lives in Canada and the other sister, Sallie Bainbridge Kanipe. deceased. Their father, Thomas Bainbridge, bought the place where Aunt Mary has lived, In the same house built before he owned It, for 75 years, and is now owned by her niece, Mil dred Kanipe, with whom she makes her home.
