Scout Executive Roger Bales will be in attendance to present the na tional charter. All Cubs of the pack and their parents are re quested to be present. All boys between the ages of 9 and 11, who are interested In becoming Cubs, are invited to bring their parents and attend the meeting also. Mrs. Ford made her home in Roseburg for many years, before going to Los Angeles. Discharged From Service Sgt. Franklin Wickham has recently been discharged from service with the U. S. Marine corps, fol lowing three and a half years duty in the South Pacific war area. He saw action on the Brit ish Solomons, Marianas, Bougain ville, Guam and Iwo Jima. Fol lowing the battle of Iwo Jima, he was sent to Hawaii, where he re ceived treatment for battle fa tigue, then transferred to the Seattle Marine base.
