K. Wood Lumber Co.. mill in this city. The stick is a perfect piece of sawed Douglas fir, 22X22 inches and 64 feet in length. The log from which it was sawed in the1 oua vallcV in the VidnitV Of C.fh Th. mill m.n.o.m.nr states that there are many such pieces of timber In the woods but few, if any, are brought out in that length a s 1 1 is dificult to move them without cutting. This was a special order and great care was taken In falling and convey ing the timber to the mill.
