Dr. Morris H. Roach performed the impressive double ring ceremony at two-thirty o' clock in the afternoon, in the presence of a large number of relatives and friends. Large white pom-pom chrysan themums, ferns and candlelabra holding tall white cathedral can dles decorated the church. Pre ceding the ceremony, Miss Mari lyn Harpham, very charmingly sang, "Because" and "I Love You Truly." accompanied on the or gan by Mrs. Homer W. Grow. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, E. F. Ollivant, of Looklngglass, was very beautiful in a white brocad ed satin wedding gown fashioned with a tull-lengtn train, tier wed ding veil was full-length also ana she carried a shower bouquet of baby roses and gardenias. After the ceremony, a lovely reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schulze in Lookingglass. The bridegroom is now stationed by the U. S. army at Santa Barbara, Calif. ' Given in marriage by her fath er, the bride was lovely in a white afternoon dress designed with gored skirt, low-cut neckline and short sleeves capped with shoul der epaulets trimmed with white velvet ribbon. With it she wore a white half-hat and her corsage was an orchid embedded In gar denias. Capt. and Mrs. Rinabarger left later that afternoon for Roseburg to visit his parents a few days before continuing to El Torra, Calif., where he will be stationed at the marine corps air base.'For traVeling the bride chose a brown and chartreuse cotton sport suit with matching acces ories and the orchid from her bridal corsage. Mrs. Rinabarger attended Twin Falls high school and University I of Idaho at Moscow, where she was pledged to Alpha Pi sororitf. Fr the last year and a half she has been employed by'the Kinney Wholesale company in Twin Falls Capt. Rinabarger was gradu ated from Medford high school and was a student at Oregon State college, and is a member of Theta Chi fraternity. He also at tended Southern Oregon college of Education before enlisting in the marine air corps in 1941. He lhad previously taken civilian pi lots training at the Medfort air port. He returned to this country about three months ago after a year of active duty in the south Pacific. His parents moved to Roseburg fn April from Medford. T. N. T. CLUB HAS DELIGHTFUL MEETING ON TUESDAY EVENING Mrs. Earl Kennedy and ' Mrs. William McCullum were Joint hostesses at a very charming eight o'clock dessert-supper at the former's home Tuesday evening when they entertained the T. He has Just re turned from the South Pacific area, where he served 30 months. The bride will remain in Rose burg with the bridegroom's mother, until he receives his new orders. CIRCLE NO. 2 IS ENTERTAINED AT JENKINS HOME MONDAY EVENING Mrs. Paul Jenkins and Miss Madlyn Stearns entertained the Circle No. 2 of St. Joseph's Al tar society at the former's lovely home in Laurelwood Monday eve ning. Miss Coletta Langenberg and Mrs. A. P. Collins were appointed chairmen of the committee to serve breakfast to the students of St. Joseph's Catholic school the first Friday morning in Feb. Lovelv refreshments were serv ed buffet style by Mrs. Jenkins i and Miss Stearns to: Mis. Josepn Kest, president, Mrs. A. P. Col lins, Mrs., Mary Lawson, Mrs. Evelyn Doyle, Miss Metu-Marle Amiot, Miss Helen Casey. Miss Coletta Langenberg. Miss Cecelia Watzig and Miss Kay and Miss Annaloris Ward. The group will meet the eve ning of Feb. 12 at the home of Miss Kay a,nd Miss Annaloris Ward on South Stephens street. MILDRED DILLING TO BE HEARD IN HARP CONCERT, ON FEB. 1 , , Miss Mildred Dilling, lharplst, will be heard by the Roseburg Community Concert association at 8:15 o'clock the evening of Feb. 1, at the Junior high school. Mildred Dilling has achieved world recognition as one of the outstanding harpists of the time. Born in America, iter eariy musi cal studies were made in this country; later she continued them in Europe under Henrietta Ken ie, the great French harpist. Her European debut took place at the Sulle Erard, Paris. Such was the success of this initial appearance that she was Imme gaged for gala concerts at the Trocadero and the Salle Gaveau, the largest concert halls in Par is, followed bv concerts on the Continent and in the British Isles. Returning to America, her con certs here duplicated her conti nental triumphs and started her upward on the road to assured success, the heights of which she has reached and maintained. Her frequent New York recitals are brilliant events in the music cai endar of the metropolis. Abroad her fame has kept pace with her renown here. Frequent performances in the British Isles, France and elsewhere on the con tinent have gained for her art the appreciation ot thousantis. To this American artist was given the distinction of being the first solo harpist to broadcast in Ireland, land of the harp, and to give the first harp recital for tel evision for tho British Broadcast ing company. Miss Dilling has had the honor of playing seven private engage ments at the White House. She recently made her motion picture debut, presented by Ar tists Films. Mildred Dllling's unrivaled po sition as the foremost woman harpist has been acknowledged by tho critics and bv a vast pub lic in Europe and America.
