A very pleasant evening was enjoyed. The bride was graduated from high school at Marcola, Ore., and recently has resided in Roseburg with her parents. Both attended Univer sity of Oregon, where the bride elect is a member of PI Beta Phi sorority and Is majoring in busi ness administration, and the bridegroom-elect was enrolled at the school of law, until enlisting in the U. S. army air forces and is now in training at Harlingcn army air field, Texas. While at tending University of Oregon, he made his letter in basketball be ing a member of the university team. He was- president of his fraternity, Phi Delta Theta and is a member of Skull and Dagger. The date of the wedding has not been announced. TWELVE AND WON CLUB HOLDS LUNCHEON AT RICHARDSON HOME The Twelve and Won club was entertained at a delightful pot luck luncheon Tuesday by Mrs. Ilsillie Richardson. Chrysanthe mums graced the table. A short business meeting was held and plans were made for the annual Christmas party. Mrs. Catherine Fest was welcomed In to the club as a new member. Games were played during the social hour with Mrs. Mary Prin een winning the high prize and Mrs. Fred Kitzman receiving the consolation prize. The many booths for refreshments, fish pond, bingo and many others were enioved bv the crowd, es pecially the mistletoe telegrams which were Kept busy oy tne young folks, and many game's of chance were so well patronized that a considerable amount was raised to be added to their funds. As a result of the voting con test Betty Rusk, of the sophomore class was elected queen and was crowned during the evening. The door prize of a war bond was won by Velma Himmelwrlght.
