misjudged and it was believed by
the officers to be off Coos Bay.

Jail Term Given Driver
Of Non-Licensed Vehicle
John C. L. Colman, 22, of Ok
lahoma, was sentenced in the
Roseburg justice court today to
10 days in the county jail after
pleading guilty of operating a
motor vehicle without a license.
Judge Thomas C. Hartfiel re
ported. Following arrest by the
state police, his case was referred
to the OPA for investigation, as
he was carrying a miscellaneous
assortment of gasoline ration
tickets, Judge Hartfiel said.
