Alter a bountiful picnic dinner, games and visiting, the business meeting was held, electing J. F. lirown president; James vowel, secretary-treasurer; Mrs. Persls Vowel, program chairman; Mis, Nellie Brown, chairman of re freshmcnt committee. Mr. James Vowel presented an Interesting program. The highlight of the program was a timely address by Dr. (.;. A. towards entitled "Un preparedness." Orchestra num bers were directed by W. O. Gil- riersleeve; a humorous reading By Miss Margaret Page; a duet by Miss Rosemary Flshback and Mr. Walter Naff; a clog dance bv Leslie (Whiskers) Hatfield, 84 years old March, 1944. The husband calling contest was won by Mrs. Clarence Zehrung; the hog calling contest was won by A. E. Ruttcr. A collection of $10 was made for the service corres pondence over seas, carried on by Dr. Edwards.
