EVERGREEN GRANGE HOLDS REGULAR MEETING The patrons of the Evergreen Grange met at the hall Monday evening for the annual clean up around and in the buildings. Aft er the work was completed the Home Economics club members served a potluck supper to the members and their families. Following the supper the reg ular session of the grange was held with Master Leland Bloom presiding. The grange is planning tu sponsor another supper Satur- day night after which all guests will be entertained with a danc - ing party, for the remainder of the evening. Mr. and Mrs. Harri - man were given the grange obii - gation. the Grange Bulletin. Flying Bombs Fall On Americans in Normandy By TOM YARBROUGH LONDON, July 13 (AP) The Germans fired a fresh batch of winged bombs against England today and a dispatch from France disclosed that the Germans had used flying bombs against the Americans in Normandy. It was expected that the Ger mans would make increasing use of them but because of their in accuracy they were unlikely to have a marked effect on military operations.
