at the hall Saturday night. Before
the business meeting was held the

families enloyed a delightful
Fourth, of July picnic Tuesday
noon at the Roseburg Auto Park
at the Deer creek bridge. Covers
were placed for thirty-one. Ice
cream, lemonade and coffee were
furnished by the camp and aux
iliary. The table was decorated by an
arrangement of gorgeous lilies,
grown by O. L. Lehne of Suther
lin. Mr. Lehne is well-known for
his very beautiful flowers and
shrubs, as he has one of the fin
est gardens in Douglas county.
Games were played and a base
ball game was held. Plans were
made for a group of camp and
auxiliary members to attend the
state convention to be held
July 9-12. Supper was served in
the early evening.
Both the camp and auxiliary
will adjourn meetings for the re
mainder of the summer.
