All members are cordially invit co to be present. 1T Wire, hsngors ro impossible, lo obtoin! Ploaio don't let them pile up f homo bring one in for each garment you have cleaned. Help ut to Conserve! NEW SERVICE LAUNDRY and Dry Cleaners DAILY DEVOTIONS DR. CHARLES A. EDWARDS The word "peace" sounds Jike the music of celestial choirs. We long for peace with all the fervor of our souls. From the din of strife and the turmoil of life we hope to find quietness. We ardently pray that from the chaos of the pres ent world there may come to mankind a lasting peace and that men may live by love rath er than by fear. The world at peace seems like a dream, but it is a promised reality. It is a possibility that may be real ized ip our present world. When the prophet foresaw the time when nations should "beat their swords into plow shares and their spears Into pruning hooks, he was not thinking of the. place we call heaven. Such a time must come and it will come on earth. It will come when human beings begin with earnestness to work and plan for an unselfish peace. It will come through faith and trust in Christ the great peacemaker, as we seek to do His will, "peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you. Let not your, heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." Peace that passeth understanding. Joy the world can never give. All secure in that blest harbour. In His peace I sweetly live." Amen.
