He enlisted In the army Dec. 20, 1041, and has since been In training in the air forces. He Is completing his training period Tuesday and will be given an ac tive service assignment. A grad uate of Glcndale high school, he , attended a Portland business col lege for one year and was em- ployed by the Ingham Lumber I company nt Glcndale at the time of his enlistment.
