Lots of Tools Small Articles Come Early LUNCH SERVED AT NOON V. H. SCHRICKER, Owner F. J. SLY, Clerk COL. J. E. COOPER, Auctioneer DAILY DEVOTIONS DR. CHARLES A. EDWARDS Heedless of Christ's com mand millions spend wakeful nights, sick with worrying. To possess security is the univer sal objective of all men every where. Groups and nations set up security Insurance pro grams. For their security, or defense, governments are spending all their resources. Alone, the individual is utterly helpless to wrest his essential needs from the foes against htm. Much goods laid up lor many years, often melt in an hour. How can I find safety and escape? Jesus gave the only answer the world has yet heard: "Your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things," and God is a faith-keeping God. Therefore be not anxious. If first, before all else, I commit myself to the heavenly Father's control. Consecrated to His obedience His resources are all engaged to supply my needs. That Is what Jesus pledged, and then He added, "The Father himself loveth you." There is no rock but this on which my security can rest in faith, peace and joy. "Fear not, little flock, for it Is your Father's good pleas ure to give you the kingdom." Our heavenly Father, today when every security of our physical life is imperiled, guide us to that sure refuge within the hollow of Thy hand, where trust Is fearless. Amen.
