REBEKAH LODGE HAS ENJOYABLE EVENING MEETING ON TUESDAY The regular business meeting of the HosebuiR Rebekah lodge No. 41 was held in the I. O. O. F. hall Tuesday evening, with Lena Porter, noble grand, presiding. There were forty-one members and seven visitors present. Among the visitors from out of town were Leah Ivie of Grants Pass, Mabel floss of Sutherlin, and Mrs. Wimer of Myrtle Creek. Ruth Dishman and Gertrude Hatfield gave excellent reports of the thirty-sixth annual conven tion held hy the lodges of dis trict No. 11 at Oakland on Feb ruary 4. The noble grand reported a visit to the Canyonville Rebekah lodge by the following mem bers from Roseburg lodge; Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Dent, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Bailey, Edythe Kelley, Mamie Iludnell, Elma Stephens and Lena Porter. Four applications for member ship were received. Plans were made for the offi cial visit of Madeline Rossner, president of the Rebekah assem bly of Oregon, on March 9, when a large class will be initiated into the lodge. Among the committees ap pointed for the March 9 meet ing were refreshment committee, Maggie Dent, Clarahell Houck, Vivian Wahns, Mamie Iludnell, Harry Taylor, Mary Decker, Min nie Noyer; decoration commit tee, Effie Swarz, Myrtella Cana day and Mable Wilson.
