Miller Funeral services will be held In Community church at Yoncalla at 2 p. m. Thursday for George Chester Miller, !)2, who died at his home in the Hayhurst dis trict Sunday from what was re ported by the county coroner to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Born at Yoncalla, December 18, 1S90, he had been a continu ous resident of Douglas county exrept for his period of service in the first world war. He was married In Roseburg, November 7, 1925, to Edna Louise Myers. Surviving are the widow, a son by a previous marriage, Benja min Vcrl Miller, now in the U. S. navy, and three daughters, Clara Louella, Ida Louise and Georgia Mae Miller, all at home. He also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Ida Mae Jones, Chico, Calif., and Mrs. ! Rachel Eola Kruse, Yoncalla, and a brother, J. Fletcher Miller, Yoncalla. He was a member of the Wood men of the World lodge. The funeral arrangements are in charge of Stearns Mortuary, Oakland.
