CLUB HAS MEETING
The Friendly Circle club met
at the home of Mrs. Ruth Reese
Wednesday with Mrs. Daynlse
Beach as hostess. A short busin
ess meeting was followed by a
hat show and soeial'hour. Many
novel hats were exhibited and
the first prize was awarded to
Mrs. P. Vowel with Mrs. W. O.
Patterson winning the second
prize. Mrs. Beach served lovely
refreshments at the tea hour. Be
sides (he members, Mi's. Allison
and Mrs. Barringer were guests.
The next meeting will be held at
the home of Mrs. Grace Bowen.
