Heath was shot through the heart as he drove uo to Mrs. Williams' home at Mukilteo in his roadster. Mrs. Williams, com ing to the door of her home upon hearing the report of the gun, was shot in the leg. According to Sheriff Ryan anc Prosecutor Cooper, who invest! cated. Western Oregon, somewhat chilly, failed to hit the freezing mark. The federal weather bureau forecast partly cloudy weather tonight and Thursday, with cloudiness Increasing in the west portion. Nutrition Specialist Dates Training Here Douglas county health officials announced today that Mrs. Lucy Case, extension nutritionist of Oregon State college, will be in Roseburg October 16 and 17 to conduct training meetings of the heads of nutrition commit tees of Douglas county organizations.
