Wini bcrly entertained the wedding party of their daughter, Miss Frances Louise Wimlicrly, at a very charming seven o'clock din ner party preceding the rehearsal Tuesday evening at t lit? GEORGEN E SHANKLIN PRESENTS CHARMING PIANO RECITAL TUESDAY A very delightful piano recital was given last Tuesday afternoon by Georgene Shanklin, the twelve-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. R. Shanklin. She is a very tal ented pupil of Gladys II. Strong. Georgene presented the entire program, playing three groups of classic and modern numbers from memory. Her playing was clear with good tone, expressing well the moods of different composers. A good many of those who attend ed not only expressed enjoyment of the program but also surprise at the mature musicianship of th's young student. '!'he recital was given at Miss Strong's home. Three sets of four generations were present and included: Mrs. S. J. Black and daughter, Mrs. Ella Harris and her daughter. Mrs. Allen Moore and small daughter, Judith Moore. The sec ond set was Mrs. Black and daughter, Mrs. J. G. Stephenson and daughter, Mrs. A. B. Taylor, and daughter, Alballe, and the third set was Mrs. Black, Mrs. Stephenson and son, "Bud" Steph enson and daughter, Maine Lee Stephenson, of Madison, Wiscon sin. Bar ney, pastor of the First Christian church of this city, performed the impressive ring ceremony at eleven o'clock in the morning in fhe presence of Miss Leah Wal ter, sister of the bride, who acted as maid of honor. Burton Black, brother of the bridegroom and best man at the wedding; Mr. and Mrs. Marry S. Black and Miss Florence Shotkoski. The bridal party stood before flic fireplace, banked with Eng lish laurel and flanked by huge bouquets of roses and chiffon daisies with a matching low ar rangement on the manlle. Mrs. Campbell is a former resident here from Bremerton, Wash. Beautilul gilts were presented the honor guests by friends in the American Legion auxiliary.
