Miss Dorothy Sheron of Sagi naw, is visiting her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Johnson. Estle Edman of Portland ar rived last week to visit her grand mother, Mrs. E. E. Edman. Charles Churchill returned to Melrose last Saturday after visit ing for several days at Seamore, on the McKenzic rivor, with his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Finn. Mrs. Agnes Van Ornum and sons. Charles, Earl and Billie of Los Angeles, recently visited Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Holmquist. Mrs. Van Ornum was formerly Agnes Bloomberg and resided at Mel rose with her parents. She Is a sister of Mrs. Arthur Midland of West Koseburg. Mr. and Mrs. Barney Shay of Edenbowcr recently purchased a twenty-acre tract from George Kellcy. The tract has a small house and other buildings.
