Mr. and Mrs. Dexter Haines and daughter, Frances, of West Springfield, were visiting at Elk ton Sunday. Mrs R. R. Wells and Mrs. Claire Palmer were Eugene visitors Sunday. Dr. Bert Phillips is home from the hospital at Eugene where he has been over two weeks. Some time ago Dr. Phillips, who is with Camp Elkton received notice of a transfer to Hemlock, Wash., but had not been able to go due to III health. Dr. and Airs. Phillips and Miss Belle Truman plan to leave Elkton July 5th. The ladies will live at Carson as it Is close to Camp Hemlock. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Braman, of Corvallis, were in Elklon Friday to see ubout some things they left when moved a few months .a Ho. Since the Bramans have been here they have taken a trip to Kansas. Mr. and Mrs. Hardy have mov ed from the Methodist parsonage! to a tent on the S. A. Fenley place. The Hardys are going lo build a home there. They have leased some land from Mr. Fenley. Mr. Hardy is with Camp Elkton. Rev. and Mrs. Lucia n Jones have been sent to the Cascade Locks as the result of the Meth odist conference. Rev. Jones has been living at Gardenier and preaching at Gardenier and Elk Ion. Sunday was his last sermon at Elkton. Rev. and Mrs. M. Fox were sent from Cascade Locks lo Elkton and will be here for services (he first Sunday In July. They will make their home at Klkton and have the Gardiner Elkton ciicuit. The past Iwo years the Elkton parsonage has had many improvements and while the pastor Is here the Gardiner church also expects to have theirs worked over. Glendale GLENDALE, July 5- Mr. and Mrs. Fred Olcolt of Portland arc spending the week with Mrs. Olcott's sister Mrs. J. K. Howard. Mrs. C. B. Austin, Mrs. Charles Hoice, Mrs. Dora Harper, Mrs. Wilson and Mrs. Dark were Grants Pass visitors Saturday. They were accompanied home by Miss Margaret Mathews. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Billings of Portland, who are building a cabin on Mule creek were visitors here Tuesday. They also visited in Grants Pass and were accom panied by Mr. and Mrs. Jess Crad- dock. Mrs. George Malhews and daughter Margaret, spent Mon day in Mfvlford. Mr. and Mis. T. F. Harvey ot Medford spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Chub Harvey. Mr. and Mrs. Ira Tucker and son left Saturday for their home in Clalskine, Ore. They were accompanied home by Mrs. Tuck er's mother Mrs. Ida Bayse. Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Miss Lilly Belle Angelle has re signed as the second grade teach er here and has accepted the pos ition of music teacher in the school at Sea Side, Oregon.
