WAR RELIEF SEWING GROUPS CONTRIBUTING SUPPORT TO BRITAIN The organization of Bundles for Britain, which has been taken over by the Christian Science War Relief organization, is mak ing extensive progress in this county according to an announce ment made by Mrs. Annie L. Rus sell and Mrs. Viola Wilson, co chairman for the organization here. Marsters entertain ed at one of the most charming parties of the week, when she in vited a group of relatives and friends to a lovely tea from three to five o'clock Saturday af ternoon at her attractive home on North Jackson street to com pliment her two daughters, Mrs. H. Gorgeous bouquets of roses were arranged about the living room, while the tea table in the dining room was covered by a beautiful linen damask cloth and centered with a bouquet of blue delphinium and pink snapdrag ons. Little Miss Martha Jane Pearcy, of Salem, received the guests, while the hostess was as sisted about the rooms by Mrs. W. M. Campbell and Mr. Earl Ullrich. Mrs. Washington Hughes and Mrs. George Sewell poured from three to four o'clock and Mrs. L. I Kohlhagen, Sr., and Miss Adeline Stewart presided at the tea table from four to live o'clock. The bridegroom is owner of a brick and tile plant ut Eu reka, Calif. Following a charming wedding dinner at the Molter home, the bride and bridegroom left on a wedding trip and will later go to Eureka, Calif., to make their home at 1507 Vernon street.
