Fred Dawson left Monday for Susanville, Calif., where he has employment in the logging camp. He spent the winter here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Dawson. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Russell are moving to Cottage Grove and ex pect to be through moving Sat urday. Mr. and Mrs. I. B. Hol comb has charge ot their prop erty here. An unexepected telephone call was received at the home of Mr. and Mrs, V. N. LaRaut from their daughter, Miss Althea, who is attending college at Minneapolis. She was one of the lucky ones to participate in the "Truth and Con sequences" program at the Or pheum theater on March 30. Fail ing to answer the question cor rectly, she had to suffer the con sequences, which was a telephone call to her home in Oregon . Her call being considered the funniest due to her excitement and the ex citement of the LaRaut family won her a prize of SS.
