OF JUNIOR WOMAN'S CLUB
IS HELD MON6AY EVENING
Mmbers of the Roseburg Junior
Woman's club enjoyed an inter
esting meeting at the Woman's
clubhouse Monday evening, Janu
ary 20, when their advisor, Mrs.
Glenn Wimberly gave an inform
al talk on "Gardens."
A leader in gardening in this
city Mrs. Wimberly touched brief
ly on the necessity of gardens as
a means of self-expression and

means of solving garden prob
lems. She opened her talk by remark
ing that healthy children, com
fortable homes and beautiful gar
dens are dependent on the Ameri
can woman for success. The gar
dens, Mrs. Wimberly said should
express the owner's personality
and the Informality of gardens is
a successful key to social affairs.
Through the exchange of plant
ings much enjoyment is derived
and also through gardening the
modern women can achieve many
physical benefits,
