Austin Wilson entertained the Ladies Thimble club at a lovely Christmas party at her home Thursday after noon. The home wan beautifully decorated with greenery and bright cnrmimas decorations. A tignieu tree graved one corner of the room and Blfta were exchanged among the members later in the afternoon. Mrs. Q. N. Kiddle, president of the club, gave an interesting talk and read a Christmas poem by Whit' tier. Members wero asked to re spond to roll call with a Christmas vefse or quotation. After a pleas ant afternoon of visiting and serv ing tbe guests were served refresh ments. Present were .Mrs. u. E. Logsdon, Mrs. Horance Hlles, Mrs. A: P. CHURCH NIGHT DINNER IS HELD MYRTLE CREEK, Dec. 17. The church night dinner at 6:30 p. m. Friday, brought out a lurge number of the membership and friends notwithstanding it was a rather cold night. Tbe birthday table with a cen terpiece of rosebuds and two large whipped cream cakes, seated twen ty guests of honor. A round robin letter was pre pared for Mr. and Mrs. C. C. March., who are spending the winter in El ninore, California. An Interesting program of music 1 and readings, and an original skit by Mesdames Wynter. Cooper and McMnnnis. completed the evening's entertainment. MID-WEEK BRIDGE CLUB HAS MEETING RIDDLE, Dec. 17. Mrs. A. P. Johnson was hostess for the Mid week Bridge club at "her home Tuesday, Dec. 9th. A delicious luncheon was served at one o'clock at a table decorated with a Christ mas motif centej- piece.
