Twenty thousand spectators cd Multnomah civic stadium to watrh tiT floats and 43 marching units take their positions for the trek through crowd-lined avenues. The sun held out fairly strong for (he parade after an early morning shower. Meter and Frank company of Portland won the grand sweep stakes award in the professional class. Rotary club of Portland took the top award in the non-professional division. First dace among floats from cities outside of Oregon went to Washougal. Wash.
