YOUNG PEOPLE ENJOY PARTY YONCALLA, May 21. Mrs. George Chenoweth and Mrs. Roy Medley were gracious hostesses to n party for the young people of Elkhead community, at the com munity hall last week. Games were played after which a delicious lunch was served. The hall, which recently has been enlarged,, and curtained, makes an ideal place to hold community gatherings. What every outlying community needs Is more cooperation between farmers, social gatherings, etc., which help to keep peace and understanding between farmers and broadens the views on farm needs. PICNIC IS ENJOYABLE CLOSING SCHOOL AFFAIR ELKTON, May 21. Tho Oak Knoll school closed Friday with a picnic. The Kellogg school was in vited. In the morning the schools play ed ball and had a basket dinner at noon. Homemade Ice cream was verv much enjoyed by the children.
