JUNIOR WOMAN'S CLUB HAS INTERESTING MEETING MONDAY NIGHT ' One of tho most Intoresllna pro grams enjoyed by ..tho Roschurg Woniiin's club whs held Monday evening at tbe clubhouse when a program on "Camp Fire Activities was presented by a group of- Hose- burg Camp Fire GiriB. The clubhouse was decorated In keeping with the out-of-doors with greenery and In the center of tho room a camp fire was nrratiKed about which tho Cump Fire Girls formed a litrno circle. An explanation of Camp Fire work was Kiven with a description of the ranks in Camp Fire and tho meaning of the seven laws and the watchword. The-girls sang a num ber of Camp Fire songs and closed their program hy clasping hands and singing "The Call of the Fire" anil "Day Is l)one." Over thirty girls took part in . the program which gave to the Jujtior Woman club members an Ideal picture of the work being carried on by the Camp Fire organization. At the close of the program the Camp Fire Oirls wore served re freshments by the club members from a service table centered with greenery and pine cones. Four red lighted tapers completed the arrangement. Arrangements for the evening's entertainment and social hour were In charge of Mrs. Cordon Stewart, Miss Eleanor Flos. Mrs. U C. BENEFIT CARD PARTY IS ENJOYABLE AFFAIR OF MONDAY EVENING A very enjoyable 7:30 o'clock dessert-supper and benefit card party was sponsored by Itiversdale grange Monday evening at the hall. Nine tables of five hundred were in play during the evening with Mrs. M. Hazel Dixon winning the ladies high score; Ora Welker winning the men's high score and Mrs. Viola Thurston winning the trav eling prize. Tbe grange will sponsor a hen- 'It five hundred party the evening of February ii at the hall and fol lowing the card play and awarding of prizes, refreshments will be served.
