The Fair Oaks Industrial club met Thurs day, January 4, in the club rooms with Mrs. Ij. E. Tho.mpson and Mrs. A. G. Webber as hostesses. A bounteous' potlucft lunch was served at noon to about 25 mem bers and guests. The dinner was followed by the business meeting at which time the officers for the ensuing year were elected. The new officers are as follows: Presi dent, Mrs. C. Fraser; vice-presi dent, Mrs. A. steur; secretary and treasurer, Mrs. Clltrord Flory. Mrs. Arthur Austin, former president, gas a short talk of thanks and ap preciation for the help given her py tne members durlug her term of office. Mrs. H. C. CAMAS VALLEY GRANGE TO MEET TUESDAY CAMAS VALLEY, Jan. 8 The next regular meeting of the Camas Valley grange will be held at the scboolhouse Tuesday night, Jan. 9, at eight o'clock. A report of the pro-Christmas bazaar held by the society wbb made and from the returns of the bazaar It was found that the society could com plete payment of the cost for in stalling electric lights in the church building. Much interest centered In a discussion of the possibility of . erecting a new church building in the near fu ture and plans were made tn study the matter further with reports to be mude at the February meeting.
