PICNIC WILL BE HELD ON FRIDAY The Loyal Temperance Legion niet Monday afternoon at the First Christian church and made pluns for a picnic to be held ut two o'clock Friday afternoon, August 4th, at Young's auto camp ground on Deer creek. All children be tween the ages of seven and fif teen are invited to bring a lunch and enjoy the picnic. Mrs. C. A. Chumherlin' led the group in singing und tuld stories of Bible children. Mary Sullivan signed the L. T. L. pledge and Mrs. Fred L. Southwick, leader, read two chapters from "Pioneer Girl," the childhood story of Frances E. Willard. Franklyn Weaver read a temperance story to the older group, while Edith Staggs had charge of the lesson for the young er children. DIANE MOREY IS HONORED AT PARTY OLENDALK. August 1. Mrs. M. I Frost entertained a group of playmates of her granddaughter, Diane Morey, in honor of Diane's eighth birthday, on Friday after noon. The party was held on the lawn at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Smith.
