The IVtrs i' lan met at James Bull's ranch near Alpine, Ore., Friday, July 1-1. AH were pleased that the time fur the reunion was ut imnd once more. There were 31 I relatives there; three Misters und one brother .of the original I'eleih' family were present. Some mine from Myrtle Creek, othera from Pendleton and Portland and many others from nearer placet. . At noon u potliu-k dinner wan served in cafeteria ntyle. . After dinner the meeting was called to oriler by the president, MrH. Mar garet McMannlii. The 1 toxo'oy ws an UK and prayer offered by Bounds. James nail was elected president for the coining year, Mae Peters vice-president and Miss Orilla I'et erH secretary. Ben Wren then in vited the clan to meet at his place in Alsen .valley, next year. After the Lord's Prayer the meet inp adjourned. Those present were the hosts, James Ball, his wile, Mabel, and (soir, Howard, V. The Brown family's annual picnic was held Sunday at Mutton's grove in Gar den Valley with about 40 relatives and friends present to enjoy the occasion.
