Steamboat CCC camp and rang station reported considerable snow over the week-end, but today there was but little snow on the ground. At Wright's ranch, on Caps Uluhee, the snow depth was 5 inches, while at the Foster ranch at liurut flats there was 12 inches of snow on the ground, with more falling today. Tiller ranger station reported 8 inches of snow over the week-end, but today tne wnue mantle remained only In sheltered spots. HlK Lamas ranger station, m tne heart of the Cascade region, had more huow today with a total depth on the ground of 'il inches. VS. (AP)- After shortening the fishing season two weeks, the state game commis sion adopted angling regulations Saturday covering bag limits and specific lake and stream regula tions for 3939. The season will open April 15 and close Oct. 15. lhtg limits Included: (ieucral bag limit Fifteen fish or 15 pounds and one fish lu one lay ami not more, than -lu fish iu seven days. Lake bag limit Fifteen fish or 15 pounds and one fish in one day and not more than 30 fish lu seven days. Willamette and McKenzle river limits Ten pounds and one fiBh but not more than 15 fish in any one day or 20 pounds and one fish but not more than 30 fish in any seven days.
