Mrs. Harry Cooke and Mrs. Ella Leach were hostesses at a delightful "watch party" on New Year's eve at the Cooke home at Azalea. Masonic hall was the scene of a very pleasant affair when the Ma sons were the guests of the East ern Star Chapter O. E. S. Tuesday evening at a joint installation. The Masons were the first to in stall, and they were: Thor Jensen, master; Ernest D. Wade, senior warden: Floyd Levins, junior war den; Joseph Hudson, treasurer; Asa Andrews, secretary Henry Beckley, senior deacon; William Binder, junior deacon; H. L. Bos- sen, chaplain; It. O. After the Masons Installed the chapter took the floor and install ed: Lena Bossen, worthy matron; H. L. In the early part of the evenlng the chapter had a short business session and at this time Grace Saw yers in behalf of the chapter pre sented Oliver Haines a ritual. Mr. Haines has served as worthy patron for several years. Mrs. Mary Grubbe, outgoing worthy matron presented the chapter with a gift. At a late hour lunch was served in the dining room. - MR.
