Miss Parkinson had a part in the play, "Alice in Wonderland, which was presented Thanksgiv ing day and again last week as a benefit afiair Xor charity. Try outs for the next play. "Chan ticleer" are now in progress and Miss Parkinson has been given a try-out by Miss Adams for the play. Miss Adams, who was listed in the first Who's Who published in America, when Bhe was 27 years ol age, has gained a national re putation as one of the worm s finest actresses. Stephens college drew national attention last year for having Miss Adams on its fa culty staff as well as Adolph Bak, former head of the Vieuuan con servatory, who was forced to ret- turn to this country because ms American citizenship outlaws his teaching in the nationalized German-Austrian state. Stephens college is now in its 105th year. In an interesting letter sent to friends here, Miss Parkinson re lates many enjoyable play rehear sals under the supervision of Miss Adams.
