Following the company's Inquir ies concerning a site, Lebanon vot ed a S17.H0U municipal rund sur plus at a special election last week to develop city-owned industrial sites. City spokesmen said the corporation had offered to lease a site for ten years at 4 per cent a year on the public's investment. I The company proposed construct ing a peeler plant and investing $200,000 in equipment and machin ery. Tlie operation would employ about 125 men. The addition of other units was suggested for the next five years. The Harbor concern has been purchasing the bulk of its logs from Santiam forest loggers be cause resources have been reduced in the Hoquiam area.
