Relief Re hekrth lodge met in regular session Wednesdav evening with Lizzie Crow. N. O.. in the chair. The Dorcas society held a meeting Wednesday afternoon In the church. Most of the business was mak ing plans lor the bazaar which will be held Friday evening. De cember 9. In the I. O. O. F.-Mn-sonic hall. There will he a small admission at the door. A quilt will be given nwny. A lunch of coffee of choco late and a doughnut will be served. Each child Invited had to bring n eat. Dorothy ami Phyllis Hay, s. escorted Mitzle, Arlene Mickelson was accompanied by Mittens: Richard Chancy was attended by Stub, and Homer Abbott nnd Jneky Farlss brought uh the rear with Spike and Willie. Ginger, who was ill tile receiv ing line was in gala attire wlt'i a black sweater coat, and a tiny pink straw hat very chic perch ed raklslily over his right ear. Tho guests nil wore their fur coats. i' . There was a roaring flio In tho old fireplace and the rpom was de corated with autumn loaves, witches and hob-goblins peered from the shadow. A long table stretching across the room had a centerpiece of bright leaves with a big pumpkin Jack-o lantern in the middle. At each place a saucer for milk, a piece of chocolate, and a pat of hamburger was placed. A hit: old china pitcher with a cat climbing over the handle held Hie warm milk. Chairs were placed for tho honored guests but the owners were obliged to sit first in order to preserve proper decorum. Almost as soon as the goodies were eaten it was discovered th.it there was real musical talent, heretofore unsuspected among the guests. Eucli kitten present knew instinctively how to render "Three Blind Mice." but like other musi cians they were also teniiieraiue'it al, and throwing restramt to tho winds some of them hopped onto the table, and from there to tlw top of the windows and doors. After the cats had enjoyed their luncheon the children feasted on popcorn prepared by Mr. Richey nnd a beautiful birthday cake bak ed by Mrs. Gazley.
