The Melrose Cemetery associa tion and the Melrose Sunday school held a joint all-day meeting ul the Melrose chapel Monday, August 1, to make arrangements to re roof and repair the chapel so as lo bold Sunday school there. A pic nic luncheon was held at noon and plans were made to bold another meeting Monday evening ul eight o'clock. Mrs. Edith Gabbert nnd her son, in-law ami daughter, Mr. and Mrs. A. Max Myers is excavating for a basement and preparing to build a new house on bis place. The Elgarose Comfort club will hold an all-day meeting and picnic at the Elgarose playshed Sunday, August 14, instead of having the meeting at the forks of the river on Saturday evening, August 13.
