BUSINESS LISTED Coast State Benefitted by Program for Disposal of Sub-Standard Grade. WASHINGTON, Oct. 19 (API Secretary Wallace gave final ap proval Tuesday to a program for diversion of aa estimated 13,000 tons of 1137 substandard prunes to by-product uses. The program, he Bald, will benefit California, Ore gon and Washington growers. Under terms of the diversion and export agreement approved by the secretary, the Pacilic Prune Products as-sociaton is authorized to divert substandard prunes of lllis year's crop to by-product uses such as animal feed, alcohol brand), syrup, juices and prune butler. It may, Wallace announced, eith er process the fruit itself or dis pose of the prunes through regular processing channels. For grade A substandard prunes tbs association will pay growers the following list prices: bits 40 and larger, J25 a ion; slie U to 61; (17.50; 62 to 81, 112.60; 82 to 111, 877.50, and 112 and up, 15, r'or grade D substaudards the as xoclutiou will puy a flat $10 u tun.
