NEW-YORK, July 1 (AP) Thirty-seven WPA strikers, Includ ing several women, were arrested on charges of burglary today as police put a new twist on the wholesale WPA ' jalllngs of tho past two days. All were charged wltli burglary, possession of burglars' tools, und malicious ' mischief. Police charged the demonstrat ors forced their way Into the of fices of the recreational unit-oL' the WPA, but William Portney, executive secretary of the city pro jects council, said the door was opeu and that the strikers merely entered to await arrival of Robert Weisenhauer, administrator of the project. Last night 93 sit-down demon stvatoi'B protesting against 11,800 WPA-economy dismissals, were ar rested at the adult education pro ject offices, and charged with dis orderly conduct.
