In their new found, but often dubious, freedom they turn to gaiety as surcease from boredom and that knawing loneliness which strikes at the heart of every individual. "Bright lights" and clever repartee become their forte. The tragedy (or expectancy) of that red letter day in court when a judge hears the pros and cons is always one long to be remembered and because a woman is a woman she usually dons her best garb and goes forth nonchalantly, determined to keep her chin high and firm, although, if the truth were known she would give the world to know that HE cared enough ro be hurt! Being "The Female of the Specie" she is apt to be vindictive and sorry! Just a human paradox, lovely to behold!
