The CkrlaUuii ladles aid met at the home of Mra. Johnny Wlmer last Thursday afternoon. Articles for the coming bazaar occupy the time ut each aid meeting. The ladies voted unanimously to ask the church to call the pastor, C. I. Kenney, who has heen supplying the local church through the sum mer, to return In September as a regular pastor, Mr. Kenney ls leav Ing next Sunday for a visit with relatives in Aurora, Missouri, and will hold a meeting while there. A basket dinner will be held at the church next Sunday prior to Rev. Kenney's departure on the Shasta. Those present were Mrs. Hattle Sherman, Mrs. M. Dieckman, Mra. J. W. Adamson, Mrs. N. Mlsa I.u ella Cunningham and Mrs. Bessie Seimers entertuiued Friday after noon complimenting their sister, Mrs. E. W. Thirsk, or Kelsey, Al bertu, Canada, who is their house guest. A dessert luncheon was served at 2 o'clock, followed by an after noon of bridge.
