The bride won charming in a violet linen BUil whh pink acces sories. Her shoulder corsage was of white stejihenosis, pink sweet peas and rosebuds. Miss Annabelle Fisher ami Miss Irene Cooney, at tendants. also wore corsages of i asi el flowers. Waldo Campbell tilted as best man to the bride room. Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Drown, parents of the bride, were also present for the ceremony. A wedding breakfast was served at Brand's Gardens at one o'clock. The beautiful bride's cake was cut by Mrs. Rose. Following the break fast, Mr. and Mrs. Rose left for Portland on tileir wedding trip and while in the city visited the for mer's grandparents, .Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Ijjineaster. They returned to Itfmeburg Tuesday evening. Dur ing the summer months they will be at Ward's Butte lookout near Kugene. Mrs. Rose Is a graduate of Roseburg high school and Is a Ktudent at Oregon State college, where Mr. Rose Is also attending school. Roth will continue their studies at Oregon State this fall. WILFRED BROWN AND MISS ELINOR HENRY MARRY IN EUGENE At twelve o'clock noon Sunday, Miss Klin or Henry, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. I). C. Henry, of Kugene, and Wilfred Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Brown, of Camas Val-i'-y, were married at the Henry Jfome by Dr. Victor IJ. Morris. The bride wore a frock of white organza with veil and carried a liouquet of pink and white sweet peu.s and roses. Miss Winifred Henry, sister of the bride, was the oniy attendant. She wore a dress of pastel pink and a band of Cecil Brunner roses in her hair. She car- ried a bouquet of pink and white sweet peas. Neil Brown, brother of the bridegroom, ueted as best man. Preceding the ceremony. Miss Alice Winston sang "Oh Promise Me," and Miss Mary Jeanette Den niston played the wedding march. The couple were married In the same room that the bride's parents were married, and carrying out further tradition, the son of the pasloi J. M. Morris, who read the services for Mr. and Mrs. Henry, officiated at this ceremony. A reception followed a wedding breakfast. Miss Grace Isemlnger. Miss Winston, Miss Demiiston and Miss Dorothy Jackson served. About twenty of the Kellogg Kumtmtnlty -Kluh ladies spent a delightful aft ernoon Thursday with Mrs. Boyd Rader. Sewing, visiting nnd games were enjoyed and at the tea hour lovely refreshments were served by the hostess, assisted bv Miss Thelma and Miss Mae Madison and Miss Virginia Anderson. Wilson and son, Robert, of Vancouver, Wash.; M rs. Lydia Dalton, of Omak, Wash., and Mrs. Charles 11. Hatch und daughter. Harriet, of Amboy, Illinois, who motored down the coast highway Sunday from Cannon beach and returned to Vancouver via the Pa cific highway Tuesday. Besides the guests of honor at tending the picnic were Mr. and Mrs. S. Madison of 737 West Lane street, Roseburg, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Madison and son, Laurence and Mra. Music for the occasion was furnished by Mr. and Mrs. Frank Madison, George Madi son and Criss Davis. Boating and swimming were enjoyed by the young folks, while the others took a trip to the old Madison home. where pictures were taken and the day spent in visiting. The. occas ion marked the thirty-fifth year since Mrs. Dalton's last visit to Kellogg. MISS VIRDEN HOSTESS AT DESSERT-SUPPER TUESDAY EVENING Miss Eugenia Virden entertain ed at a very lovely seven o'clock dessert-supper at her home on North Jackson street last evening to compliment Miss Phyllis Ann Bolter, of Portland, who is here visiting relatives and friends. Sweet peas and marigolds ar ranged with other pastel colored summer flowers were used as a decorative motif. Covers were placed for Miss Bolter, guest of honor. Miss Meredith Anne Jen kins, Miss Dorothy Whitaker, Miss Gay liubar, Miss Shirley Mae Brunn, Miss Louise Virden, Miss Jean Banning, and the hostess. Miss Eugenia Virden. Mrs. T. 11.
