The opening of the Louie creek
road on South Myrtle promises to
become quite an important project
to this section of the country. The
county court has announced that it
will complete the remuiniitg three
miles of road needed to connect
the North and South Myrtle mar
ket roads, as soon us funds are
available. This would make a rural
muil service possible besides open
ing up some valuable timber laud
and adding to ihe conveniences of
local settlers in many other ways.
Evangelist C. J. Kider of the
Seventh Day Adventist church is
conducting revival services in a
large tent on East Johnson street.
Meetings began May 26, and will
be held each night except Mon
day.

which their sou, Kenneth, is a
