Fles, both of Roseburg, who were quietly married at the home of the bride's parents at one o'clock Easter Sun day, April 12, The bride was very attractive In a lovely navy blue ensemble fash ioned with large white collar rev ieres. She wore a corsage of gar denias arranged with orange blos soms from her grandmother's wed ding bouquet and also from her mother's wedd,!ng bouquet. Miss Georgia Emery and Richard Fies, brother of the bridegroom, were attendants. Following the wedding service a buffet luncheon was served. Only the Immediate families of tbe couple were present. Mr. and Mrs. Fles left Sunday afternoon for Portland and have returned here to make their home In the Valley hotel apartments. Airs. Fies attended high school in San Francisco and later attend ed Marin Junior college. She is a granddaughter of the late Hyman Wollenberg. Air. This Is the third annual conven tion of National Honor Society chapters located In Oregon hlgn schools. The two previous conven tions were held at the University of Oregon and Oregon 8iate col lege . respectively under the au spices of tne Honor Society chap ters located In the high schools ot the two communities. . The National Honor society at the present time has1 chapters n over twenty high schools of the state and it Is expected that from 200 to 250 honor students will be present at tbe convention. The program this year is In charge of the Honor .Society chap ter of the Newberg high, school.
