ELAINE HARTUNG HAS CHARMING BIRTHDAY PARTY ON FRIDAY Yesterday afternoon at three o'clock Elaine Suzanne Hartung entertained a group of her small friends at a, delightful Valentine party, the occasion being in honor of her fourth birthday anniversary. RECIPES Cottage Cheese Pie (oriqlnal) Ry Mrs. Herman Rrown Sti'herlin, Ore. 1 cup cottage cheese. 1 cup sugar 1 T. cornstarch 1 T. cream or butter 2 eggs Cinnamon and nutmeg, spices to suit. Make any good piecrust. Place in pie tin. crimp edas nnd prck bottom with fork. Hake until a verv light brown. Place cottage cheese, sugar, cornstarch and egg yolks In hnwl and cream together well. Add flav oring and cream or butter. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites and pour mixture in crust. Bake in moderate oven until filling sets and top is light brown In color.
